Kevin
PhD candidate at UC Riverside, working under Dr. Brian Collier. Research in differential geometry, complex geometry, and Higgs bundle theory.
I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Riverside, advised by Dr. Brian Collier. I received my M.S. from UC Riverside and my B.S. from Biola University.
My research interests lie in differential and complex geometry, with a focus on Higgs bundles, flat connections, and the geometry of moduli spaces. I am also drawn to Teichmüller theory and its connections to representation varieties.
Alongside research, I am committed to mathematics education. I have taught courses from precalculus through multivariable calculus and topology at UC Riverside and California Baptist University.
This fall, I will be joining the faculty at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I look forward to building a strong teaching program and continuing my research there.
